I have varied experience in software & hardware, creative & technical. But my passion is simple. It all boils down to making things that people want to use. Clever things, simple things, beautiful things, functional things.
I've been knocking out HTML since 1999 and worked on enterprise applications as a full stack engineer. I prefer front-end to backend but I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty.
I still design an build websites even though it isn't part of my day job.
I take a lot of pictures, I used to do it professionally, they've been in publications like i-D, Vogue, POP, NYT. I did a little work for some fashion brands too like Prada and Burberry.
I figure out how to move people from one place to another, how to get them to share things and most importantly how to keep them interested. I'm a big fan of data-driven marketing.
I studied Electronic Engineering but then ended up working predominately in a web enviroment. I still dabble with electronic bits like Arduino's and other microcontrollers.
I don't just push pixels all week, I still like to work with physical things, whether it's with my CNC or just hand tools.
